24 Heures du Mans (24 Hours of Le Mans) is the world’s most iconic endurance car race, held annually in Le Mans, France, since 1923. This legendary 24-hour showdown pushes drivers and machines to their limits on the Circuit de la Sarthe, combining closed public roads with racetrack sections. Beyond the track, the event transforms into a full-blown festival, with a lively carnival, Ferris wheel, live concerts, and fireworks lighting up the night. GOOD TO KNOW
• Getting there: Paris ↔ Le Mans by TGV in ~55 minutes; from Le Mans station, take Tram T1 to “Antarès – Stade Marie Marvingt” (≈20 minutes), then walk to the East entrance. Plan your route.
• On your feet: Distances are big—expect long walks between zones; build in extra time for security checks.
• Sound & comfort: Bring ear protection (especially for kids); nights can be chilly—pack layers.
