Frequently asked questions.
Flat-fee Europe trip planning from €30 per travel day. No commissions.
You book direct with our guidance. EU-hours support while you travel.
-
We design custom European trips built around how you actually like to travel—smart routing, great home bases, and practical guidance that makes the trip feel effortless. Depending on the level of support you choose, we can also curate places to stay, things to do, and where to eat (with direct booking links), plus a custom Google Map and a practical “How-to-Travel” kit to make each day on the road easier.
Our two core services are:
• Trip Blueprint: route + bases + pacing + booking order (a lower-cost way to get the structure right fast)
• Full Trip Design: everything in the Blueprint, plus curated options, logistics guidance, a fully pinned map, and support while you travelIn some cases, we can also arrange limited-availability add-ons (priced separately and arranged in advance), such as regional guided days or help coordinating tricky transfers—availability depends on destination and timing.
-
We charge a flat planning fee—no hourly rates, no commissions. Pricing is per trip, based on travel days and group size, and we confirm the exact fee before we start.
Full Trip Design: €70 per travel day (includes up to 4 travelers)
€7 per travel day for each additional traveler (travelers 5–10)
Trip Blueprint: €30 per travel day (includes up to 4 travelers)
€3 per travel day for each additional traveler (travelers 5–10)
For parties over 10 and/or trips longer than 21 days, we’ll provide a custom quote.
You book directly with hotels, rail, guides, and tour providers using our guidance. We don’t take commissions and we don’t add markups—recommendations are based on fit and value.

Europe can work on many budgets. The biggest cost drivers are where you go, when you go (season), your accommodation style, and how “activity-heavy” you want each day to be.
Our role isn’t to push you toward a particular spend. It’s to design something realistic for your budget—choosing bases that give good value, helping you decide where it’s worth splurging (and where it isn’t), and avoiding costly routing mistakes or “too much in too few days.”
-
Yes. We regularly work with travelers who have mobility needs or other access requirements, and we factor accessibility into routing, home bases, and daily pacing from the start.
Depending on the destination, we can help identify more step-free or elevator-accessible options, suggest transportation strategies that reduce friction, arrange wheelchair-friendly transfers where available, and flag attractions or neighborhoods that may be challenging so you can make informed choices.
Some services (like equipment rentals or in-person assistance) depend on local providers and availability, so we’ll always be clear about what we can and can’t coordinate.
-
You can start in one of two ways:
• Share your trip idea in a quick form, or
• Book a free 20-minute intro callIf we’re a good fit and you decide to hire us, we’ll send a short questionnaire and planning agreement. Once we have those back, we typically deliver a first draft of your route and home bases within about a week.
From there, we refine together—usually through one or two planning touchpoints and a final review—until the plan feels right. You then make bookings directly (hotels, trains, experiences, etc.) with our guidance.
If you choose Full Trip Design, we also support you during the trip in EU daytime hours for same-day pivots and practical help as things change.

We’re a small, on-the-ground planning studio based in Burgundy—not a big agency and not a tour operator. We focus on tailor-made European trips, not packaged itineraries.
We don’t sell pre-built tours, and we don’t take commissions on what you book—so recommendations are based on fit and value, not who pays us. Because we live in Europe and build trips based on real travel days, we emphasize realistic pacing, smart routing, and clear logistics—so your itinerary works in practice, not just on paper.
-
Yes. With Full Trip Design, we offer on-trip support in EU daytime hours (usually 8:00–20:00 CET/CEST).
We can help with same-day pivots, weather swaps, routing tweaks, closures/work-arounds, resequencing, and practical questions as they come up—so you’re not troubleshooting alone.
For true emergencies, contact local emergency services first. We’re your planning partner and guide—not a 24/7 concierge or emergency operator.

Our core work—and where we’re most useful—is custom trips within Europe. It’s where we live, travel, and keep up with what’s changing on the ground.
Very occasionally, we’ll take on non-European itineraries for returning clients or when the brief is an exceptional fit for our research style, but we don’t position ourselves as global destination experts.
-
Often, yes—within reason and depending on our schedule. The earlier you reach out, the more options we’ll have to work with (especially for peak season), but we do sometimes help with shorter lead times when availability allows.
If your timeline is tight, we’ll be straightforward about what’s realistic—and whether we can add enough value to make the planning fee worthwhile. Share your trip idea and we’ll let you know.
-
You’ve got two easy options:
• Share your trip idea in a quick form, and we’ll reply by email with honest thoughts on route, timing, and fit.
• Or book a free 20-minute intro call if you’d rather talk things through live.Either way, we’ll help you choose the right level of support (Trip Blueprint vs Full Trip Design) and confirm the appropriate fee band before any paid work begins.
