Frequently asked questions.

What services do you offer?

We craft custom European trips that fit how you like to travel: smart routing, curated places to stay and eat, practical transport guidance, collaborative planning, and on-the-ground support while you’re away—plus a digital resource kit to make days on the road easier.

When it helps, we can also add limited-availability extras such as regional guided days, chauffeur/valet-style car relocation, or accompaniment for tricky transfers, all arranged in advance and priced separately from the core planning fee.

How much does your service cost?

We charge a flat planning fee based on your trip length and number of travelers—no hourly rates. Our current tiers are listed on the Services & Pricing page, and every quote is agreed before we start.

That fee covers discovery and co-planning, your trip blueprint (route, bases, pacing), curated shortlists with direct booking links, a custom Google Map, a practical “how to travel” kit, and on-trip support in EU daytime hours.

We don’t take commissions on what you book and we don’t add hidden markups—recommendations are made for fit and value, not for kickbacks.

Is it expensive to travel to Europe?

Europe can be done on many budgets. The biggest drivers are destinations, season, accommodation style, and how activity-heavy you want your days to be.

Our job isn’t to push you toward a particular spend, but to design something realistic for your budget: choosing bases that give good value, suggesting where it’s worth a little extra, and helping you avoid costly routing mistakes or “too much in too few days.”

Do you assist with travel for people with disabilities?

Yes. We regularly work with travelers who have mobility or other access needs, and we factor accessibility into route, bases, and daily pacing.

Depending on destination, we can help you identify more step-free or elevator-accessible options, arrange wheelchair-friendly transfers where available, and flag attractions or areas that may be challenging so you can decide what feels right.

Some services (like mobility equipment rentals or in-person assistance) depend on local providers and availability, so we’ll always be transparent about what we can and can’t arrange.

How does the travel planning process work?

You can start either by sharing your trip idea in a quick form or by booking a free 20-minute intro call—both help us understand who’s traveling, your dates, and what you’re hoping for.

If we’re a good fit and you decide to hire us, we’ll send a short questionnaire and planning agreement. Once we have that back, we typically deliver a first draft of your route and home bases within about a week.

From there we refine together—usually through one or two planning touchpoints and a final review—until the plan feels right. You then make the bookings with our guidance, and we stay available in EU daytime hours while you travel for tweaks and same-day pivots.

What sets you apart from other travel agencies?

We’re a small, on-the-ground planning studio based in Burgundy, not a large agency or tour operator.

We focus on tailor-made European trips, don’t sell packages, and don’t take commissions on what you book—recommendations are based on fit and value, not on who pays us.

Because we live in Europe and support travelers while they’re on the road, we think in terms of real days: realistic pacing, smart routing, and a human to message when the train is late or the weather shifts.

Can you help with on-the-ground support during the trip?

Yes. For planning clients, we offer on-trip support in EU daytime hours (usually 8:00–20:00 CET/CEST).

We can help with same-day pivots, rain-day swaps, route tweaks, restaurant ideas, and practical questions as they come up. For true emergencies you should always contact local emergency services first; we’re here as a planning partner and guide, not a 24/7 concierge or emergency operator.

Do you only plan trips to Europe?

Our core work—and where we’re most useful—is custom trips within Europe. It’s where we live, travel, and keep up with what’s changing on the ground.

Very occasionally we’ll take on non-European itineraries for returning clients or when the brief is a good fit for our research style, but we don’t position ourselves as global destination experts.

Can you help with last-minute travel plans?

Often, yes—within reason. The earlier you get in touch, the more options and availability we have to work with, but we do sometimes help with shorter lead times if our schedule allows.

For very last-minute or peak-season trips, we’ll always be honest about what’s realistic and whether we can add enough value to make it worth the planning fee.

How do I get started?

You’ve got two easy options:
Share your trip idea in a quick form, and we’ll reply by email with honest thoughts on route, timing, and fit.
– Or book a free intro call if you’d rather talk things through live.
