Buskers Bern turns Bern, Switzerland’s UNESCO-listed Old Town into a roaming stage each August, celebrating street performance in all its forms. In the Lower Old Town lanes, international acts rotate through bite-size sets of music, contemporary circus, acrobatics, comedy, and dance, while the crowd follows the buzz from square to square. Entry is open, but buying the festival wristband (“Bändeli”) helps fund the event—then tip your favorites with classic hat money.
